Dog b-day cake / liver cake recipe / tutorial

Hey Guys, finally had free time to upload our doggie birthday cake liver cake tutorial. Enjoy, they really loved the cake. If you have small dog I highly suggest you cut the ingredient in half we had two patches https://www.petful.com/food/liver-cake-recipe-for-dogs/

 

This is not my recipe, I did modify it a bit . did not use butter but here is the detail and credit to the person who did write this.

Instead, this cake is frosted with pumpkin and cream cheese. Pumpkin has several health benefits for dogs. Find a brand of canned pumpkin that doesn’t have added sugars.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter or shortening
  • 1 lb. raw beef liver
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup whipped light cream cheese (optional)
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin (optional)

Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Grease a cake pan with butter or shortening.
  3. Puree the liver in a blender or food processor.
  4. Combine liver, flour and eggs in a large bowl. Mix thoroughly.
  5. Pour the mixture into the cake pan.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes. Allow cake to cool completely.
  7. Frost cake with cream cheese and/or canned pumpkin.

Makes 8 servings for small dogs and 4 for large dogs.

Warning: Even if you’re adventurous, you do not want to eat a sample. Trust me. To human noses, it smells even worse than it tastes. Yes, your house will reek for a couple of hours — but isn’t your spoiled baby worth it?

ikea cat / dog house bin kallax lurvig review unboxing

Hey Guys we love the new box the most out of all the ones they came out with. This is obviously for a cat but for chihuahuas ;) it is perfect. Ours behave like cats sometimes and they love to go into small spaces. We placed ours in the office ! I wish again this came in more color options, I would have loved at least grey ( light). 

Overall this is worth it but again the material if you feel it , you know your dog will chew it. Maybe cats don't do this? ( never had cats before). it saves you spaces and if you have cat you can place them all over and they can have their own play ground. We are moving into smaller and smaller homes now days, it is very considerate of ikea for giving us this option. If i had cats and I lived in a studio this would be on my must buy list.

ikea dog cat pet bed lurvig white frame unboxing review

Hey Guys we did another review on the white ikea lurvig dog frame bed 

overall we love this bed, but again this entire line seems to be for smaller dogs and cats. Dogs might attempt tot chew the corner and ikea quality wood is not the bed. It won't last.  I wish there was more option for the cousin. If we can buy the cover separately it would be great. 

Overall it is worth it, better than the sofa / dog bed version. The cousin came separately bundle with the cover of your choice. Our bed is bigger slightly and the cousin over all is very comofortable one of our dog always stays inside. . 

ikea dog/ cat sofa dog bed lurvig review / unboxing

Hey Guys . We bought the Ikea lurvig cat/dog sofa bed in black.

Overall we love it, but we wish we had more choices for the fabric cover and also if there was a waterproof cover we can buy that would be great. Overall the price is not the cheapest because you can definitely get another dog bed at local pet smart. If you have the extra money to spend and your dog is less than 10 lb , and you are wanting a more human like dog design , go for it. But i wouldn't use this as a " bed". Their actual bed is a better option :)

Parking: There is parking when you turn right into UW campus and walk 3 minites into the park. There is also parking once you drive into the park but the parking is very limited. 

Review: 

Positive: 

We have been coming to this park since when we first moved to Seattle last year October on a weekly basis. This park's off leash area is extremely large, allowing plenty of room to play with your dogs. It also one of the few parks that the owner can also take a walk with the dog side by side. One can easily spend up to 30 mins -1 hr at this park. The entire enclosed area extend all the way from the large yard to the lake which dogs are allowed to swim. There is also another area enclosed inside the Park for smaller dogs to meet. It is extremely clean and when you are done walking there is also a field near by where you can play with your dog. There is also a nice family side walk that goes all around the lake with BBQ location scattered around. Right outside the park there is also a large children playground. If you are a family you can have the husband sit by the park with kids while the wife goes in to the enclosed area with fur babies, " killing two stones at once"  

Negative 

If you have small dogs sometimes it can be hard to keep an eye on them, since many owners do let their dogs roam on their own freely. We had incidents in the past where a 50 lb dog is chasing after the 3lb chihuahua. She was scared and we had to run after her but the owner did nothing and just says " they are playing". If you have a big dog it is great, but you still have to watch out, however it is normal for any dog park.

Hello everyone , My name is prosciutto, yes I know I am a meat  so is my brother pepperoni. How i got that name? well my mom wanted match me to  pepperoni and the only cute name that starts with P and is a meat product is Prosucitto. TA DA, that was really lame isn't it? You would think she would put more effort into naming me, this beautiful fabulous chichi. 

I am a Long coat Chihuahua. I am stuck in the age of one where I am not a puppy but not yet a women I mean a dog/bitch. I have two brothers whom I love to bully because of my cuteness I get away with anything. SHHHHHHHHHHHhhhh,,, don't tell mommy and daddy.

Cosmo, the cavalier is my personal bedding. Oh if I can only review his soft and fluffy-ness on amazon prime that would be perfect. I would rate him 4.5/5 due to his occasional stinkiness as a plain old dog. The other chichi, the bald one. I always wonder why he dose not go to Hair lose club? Do they not have them for dogs? At this time and age , in this world, how much human love us , you would think some where out there is a support group for the chichi who loses their hair hun? If there is one let me know, because he cries all day wondering why he is not fluffy like us. He secretly think he is adopted :O and dose not belong to this family of fluff.
